Focus and Scope

Jurnal Pembelajaran dan Biologi NUKLEUS (JPBN) has focus on 2 scope field: (1) Biology education (Scope covering Curriculum to studies biology, teaching and learning biology, media for learning biology, assessment learning biology, biology learning resources with coverage biology education in elementary school, more preferred in Senior high school, university, etc.) and (2) Biology (Scope covering: Ecology, Genetic, Botani, Physiology etc). Article published is the results of research and systematic literature review.

Peer Review Process

All texts sent are read by the editorial team. Manuscripts that are evaluated by editors that do not match the criteria of the journal are rejected immediately without a reviewer review. Whether it is suitable for Jurnal Pembelajaran dan Biologi NUKLEUS (JPBN) focus and scope or has a major methodological flaw and screening for plagiarism using Turnitin as the tools, if similarity more than 25% the author get a chance to reduce it (Policy of screening for plagiarism). The script that was considered potentially interesting for our readers was sent to 2 reviewers with double-blind peer review type. Reviewers' comments are then sent to the corresponding author for necessary actions and responses. The reviewers suggested will be evaluated in an editorial board meeting. Afterwards, the editor will send the final decision to the corresponding author. The editors then make decisions based on reviewers' recommendations of several possibilities: Rejected/Require major revision/Require minor revision/Accepted. The review process normally will take approximately max ±3 months from the date of receipt.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
