TUJUAN, FUNGSI, DAN PRINSIP EVALUASI PEMBELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DI PONDOK PESANTREN DARUL HUSNA LANGGAPAYUNG

Abstract


Learning evaluation is an essential component of the educational process, particularly in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) that integrate mastery of religious knowledge, character development, and the cultivation of Islamic life skills. This study aims to describe the objectives, functions, and principles of learning evaluation in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at Pesantren Darul Husna Langgapayung. The objectives of evaluation are focused on measuring students’ competence comprehensively, covering cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. The functions of evaluation include measuring learning achievement, serving as a basis for curriculum and instructional improvement, and acting as a medium for character development in accordance with Islamic values. The principles applied consist of objectivity, fairness, continuity, comprehensiveness, and transparency, ensuring that the results are accountable and serve as a reference for improving the quality of education. Thus, learning evaluation in PAI at Pesantren Darul Husna Langgapayung is not only oriented toward academic achievement but also functions as an instrument for fostering students’ character to form a generation that is faithful, knowledgeable, and virtuous.
