Pengaruh Pengurangan Buah dan Pemberian Pupuk NPK Terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Tanaman Semangka (Citrullus vulgaris Schard)

Abstract


This study aims to determine the effect of fruit reduction and NPK fertilizer on the growth and production of watermelon (Citrullus vulgaris Schard). The research was conducted at the experimentalfield of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Indonesian Community Development, using a factorial randomized group design (RAK). The treatments consisted of fruit reduction with three levels (no reduction, 1 fruit reduction, and 2 fruit reduction) and NPK fertilizer dosage with three levels (no fertilizer, 10 Ton/Ha, and 15 Ton/Ha). The results showed that the interaction between fruit reduction and NPK fertilizer significantly affected the growth and productionparameters of watermelon plants, with the best treatment found in the combination of 1 fruit reduction and 15 Ton/Ha dose of NPK fertilizer.
