SOSIALISASI PEMBELAJARAN MENDALAM (DEEP LEARNING) SEBAGAI UPAYA PENGUATAN PEMAHAMAN GURU DALAM MENGHADAPI ERA KECERDASAN BUATAN

Abstract


Perkembangan teknologi kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI) telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam dunia pendidikan. Guru perlu memiliki pemahaman yang memadai mengenai pendekatan pembelajaran yang mendorong kemampuan berpikir kritis, kreativitas, kolaborasi, komunikasi, dan pemecahan masalah. Salah satu pendekatan yang relevan adalah pembelajaran mendalam (Deep Learning), yang menekankan pemahaman konseptual, keterlibatan aktif peserta didik, serta penerapan pengetahuan dalam konteks kehidupan nyata. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan penguatan pemahaman kepada guru mengenai konsep pembelajaran mendalam dan pemanfaatan kecerdasan buatan dalam pembelajaran. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 22 November 2025 di Sekolah Cerdas Bangsa, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, dengan melibatkan 25 guru dari jenjang Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini dan Sekolah Dasar. Metode kegiatan menggunakan sosialisasi partisipatif yang meliputi penyampaian materi, demonstrasi aplikasi berbasis AI, diskusi, tanya jawab, dan evaluasi. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar observasi, angket pemahaman, dan kuesioner kepuasan, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif persentase. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa kehadiran peserta dan keterlaksanaan kegiatan masing-masing mencapai 100%, pemahaman peserta terhadap materi mencapai 92%, dan kepuasan peserta terhadap kegiatan mencapai 96%. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan terlaksana sesuai rencana, materi dapat dipahami dengan baik, dan kegiatan memperoleh respons positif dari peserta. Namun, capaian pemahaman tersebut hanya menggambarkan kondisi peserta setelah kegiatan karena evaluasi tidak menggunakan pengukuran awal. Kegiatan ini menjadi langkah awal dalam mendukung kesiapan guru menghadapi transformasi pendidikan berbasis kecerdasan buatan.

ABTRAK

The advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has brought significant changes to education. Teachers need an adequate understanding of learning approaches that promote critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills. One relevant approach is Deep Learning, which emphasizes conceptual understanding, active student engagement, and the application of knowledge in real-life contexts. This community service activity aimed to strengthen teachers’ understanding of Deep Learning concepts and the use of Artificial Intelligence in teaching and learning. The activity was conducted on November 22, 2025, at Cerdas Bangsa School, Deli Serdang Regency, involving 25 teachers from early childhood and elementary education levels. A participatory socialization method was employed through lectures, demonstrations of AI-based applications, discussions, question-and-answer sessions, and evaluation. Data were collected using observation sheets, a participant understanding questionnaire, and a satisfaction questionnaire and were analyzed using descriptive percentage analysis. The results showed that participant attendance and activity implementation each reached 100%, participants’ understanding of the material reached 92%, and participant satisfaction reached 96%. These findings indicate that the activity was implemented as planned, the material was well understood, and the program received positive responses from the participants. However, the reported level of understanding only reflects participants’ condition after the activity because no initial measurement was conducted. This activity represents an initial step toward supporting teachers’ readiness to face AI-driven educational transformation.
