Pengaruh Ekstrak Kulit Pisang (Musa paradisiaca (L) Kunt.) dan BAP Terhadap Pertumbuhan Kentang Merah (Solanum tuberosum L.) secara In Vitro

Abstract


The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Ambon banana peel extract (M. pasadisiaca (L) Kunt.) and BAP on the growth of red potatoes (S. tuberosum L) in vitro. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 2 factors, 16 combinations, and 3 replications, resulting in 48 experimental units. The first factor was Ambon Banana Peel Extract "EK" which consisted of 4 levels (EK0: 0 mg/l, EK1: 0.75 mg/l, EK2: 1.50 mg/l, EK3: 2.25 mg/l). The second factor was BAP "B" which consisted of 4 levels (B0: 0 mg/l, B1: 0.25 mg/l, B2: 0.50 mg/l, B3: 0.75 mg/l). The results showed that the application of banana peel extract had a significant effect on explant viability and had no significant effect on plantlet height, number of leaves, number of shoots, and number of roots. BAP concentration had a highly significant effect on plantlet height, number of leaves, number of shoots, and number of roots, but had no significant effect on explant viability.
